When partial discharge occurs in GIS, transformer, switch cabinet and other power equipment, the discharge will trigger UHF electromagnetic wave, which will leak out through the insulation parts at the connection position of the equipment. Therefore, these abnormal UHF signals can be detected by UHF detector outside the equipment, and then the insulation defects inside the equipment can be evaluated. Combining UHF smart sensor technology, smart phone and UHF detection app, it is specially used for rapid detection of partial discharge in various power equipment of substation, which can greatly improve the efficiency of live detection in substation.
